Sport Northland's 'Have a Go' Beach Day in Taipa was a great success! Huia Whanau participated in a number of water-based activities, including paddle boarding, sailing, and boat safety and rescue. We had such a fantastic day, full of laughs, and we all returned to school very happy and tired.

  1. Kia ora Its Morgan here from Totara 2 Greymain school. I think that this looks really interesting and fun. I think that I would enjoy this because I really like water activities and sports. I have tried paddleboarding and I found it fantastic. I think that dressing up and going to the beach is really good idea. E noho ra (bye).

  3. Hi Billie - Jean We really did have fun.
when we first got into the water it was cold but as long as we were moving we would be warm.
The whole class was there enjoying them selves.
    Thanks for the awesome comment.

  4. Kia ora Iris we all got split up into groups so there wasn't really a popular activity but I guess everyone wanted to go on the sail boats. I would like them to add in surfing that's my favourite water sport.
